Frontier Airlines is reporting a boost in the number of passengers it carried last month.
The Denver-based airline filled nearly 78 percent of the seats on its jets in February, which compared with 71 percent in February 2007. In all, the number of passengers totaled 760,816. That was up 12 percent from the previous February.
Frontier will begin service to Colorado Springs on April 15. The airlines is also building a $25 million, 100,000 square foot maintenance facility at the Colorado Springs Airport. It will be completed next year, and will create 225 jobs.
