Internet spam king Eddie Davidson of Louisville, Colorado has walked away from the minimum-security prison camp outside Florence.
The Bureau of Prisons says he disappeared Sunday. Davidson had been there for about five weeks, serving a 21-month sentence.
Davidson pled guilty to tax evasion and sending misleading e-mails asking people to buy risky penny stocks. He also owes more than $700,000 in federal income tax.
Court papers say his business, "Power Promoters," took in $3.5 million between 2003 and 2006.
