Colorado Springs is the latest stop for an anti-Iraq war movie.
“It’s hard to watch,” said Garrett Reppenhagen, a member of the Springs chapter of Iraq Veterans Against the War. “It’s hard to see but it’s something that really as Americans we have to pay attention to especially now in the fifth year of the war.”
The one-night only showing happens Saturday, July 12 at Kimball’s Twin Peak Theater at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10, and $8 for military and veterans. Proceeds will benefit Iraq Veterans Against the War.
After the movie, a discussion with members of the group is planned.
