Hundreds of people shaved their heads in Colorado Springs last Friday in the world's largest observance of St. Baldrick's. The annual event raises money to fight childhood cancers.

Everyone from Olympic athletes to college students had their heads shaved. Team USA Weightlifting went bald for their team captain Ian Lyons, who's fighting cancer. Besides raising money to fight cancer, the participants showed their solidarity with cancer patients, who often lose their hair during treatments. Organizers raised thousands of dollars.
