Colorado Springs police say two people were injured after three drive-by shootings late Tuesday night.

The first happened just before 9:00 p.m. in the 1600 block of S. Wahsatch Ave.  Police tell us a man was walking home when he was shot in the hip.

Then, police say a second drive-by shooting happened less than 15 minutes later near 800 W. Kiowa.  They say a jogger was shot at several times, and one of the bullets hit him in the arm.

Both victims were taken to Memorial Hospital and treated for serious injuries.       They both described the suspect's car as light-colored and possibly an older model Honda Civic with a modified muffler attached.

But it wasn't over yet.  Less than three hours later, police say a third dive-by shooting happened.  This one was near 3000 Illinois Ave.  No one was injured, but there are bullet holes in a house and a car.

Police do not believe the third shooting is related to the first two.
