Rather than the best selling book list, the Pikes Peak Library District has made the best book borrower list. The local library district is officially one of the best in the country.
The Pikes Peak Library District placed in the top ten, nationwide, from a highly regarded public library rating system.
Districts are rated on a system of fifteen criteria. According to District Executive Director, Paula Miller it’s thing like, "Are we being really effective in the selection of the resources that we make and is the community coming in and using us and appreciating us."
The Pikes Peak District ranked nine. It’s in the largest category of cities with five hundred thousand people or more.
