It was a mess on the roads this holiday weekend, an accident backed up traffic for miles on I-25 Saturday afternoon.
It happened just north of the Interquest Exit. State Troopers say a car was following too close and rear ended another. The car then swerved into a tanker truck carrying propane, it got wedged underneath the tanker, and was dragged about 400 feet.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
State Troopers add there was a lot of trafffic in the area because of parent's weekend at the Air Force Academy. The congestion also caused several other minor accidents.
