Three arrested in murder of Salida man

Three people have been arrested in the death of a Salida man who was shot to death in July. James Durgan was reported missing on July 11 by his wife.
Durgan had failed to come home after a business trip. He was known to have rented a hotel room in Canon City, and his body was later found in the Arkansas River near Parkdale. He had been shot.
On Thursday, Canon City Police arrested his estranged wife, Kristin Durgan, 40, in Gunnison. She is charged with 1st degree murder, kidnapping, conspiracy to commit murder and other related charges.
Also charged is Andrew Tanner, 22, of Salida. Officers believe he is Durgan's boyfriend. A third Salida resident, Brian Folsom was also arrested. Tanner and Folsom both face charges of murder and kidnapping.
According to Canon City Police, more arrests are anticipated.
