A tornado was spotted near Castle Rock and several funnel clouds have been reported around the area. The tornado was caught on tape by our sister station KUSA in their helicopter.
It touched down between Castle Rock and Parker. There were no reports of major damage but there were some uprooted shrubs. There were no injuries.
Another tornado hit Elbert County. It struck a home and barn and some power poles.
This is the second tornado reported in Colorado in the last two days.
