Farmers say vegetable and melon fields turned into lakes over the weekend. Some of that produce was ready to be picked. In Colorado Springs at Memorial park, some farm stands we're offering deals. Miller's farm near Longmont grows fruits and vegetables on six hundred acres. They say the heavy rain cost them thousands of dollars. It's too soon to tell how the overall local produce picture will be affected. Much will depend on what the weather does in the days to come.
