Many drivers like following snow plows because they get better traction in lousy conditions. But one Colorado Springs man took things a bit too far.
John Archuleta, 70 of Colorado Springs rear ended a CDOT snow plow Monday morning. The car got tangled-up in the sanding unit and was dragged by the plow for a half-mile before other motorists frantically flagged-down the driver. The snow plow, car attached, pulled onto the shoulder of the interstate.
Neither Archuleta nor the plow driver, Fredrick Parrent, Jr, of Westcliff were hurt. Archuleta got a ticket for careless driving.
