Cash-strapped pet owners have been turning-in their furry family members to shelters or leaving them behind when they move from foreclosed homes. Animal rescue organization have been struggling to help out.
Now, Dreampower Animal Rescue has received grants to pay for spaying and neutering cats and dogs. Unemployed or underemployed pet owners must fill-out an application and pay $10.
Project CATS also has funding available for feral cat caretakers to have their charges spayed or neutered for free.
