Rep. John Salazar could be given cabinet post

Colorado Democratic Rep. John Salazar, who represents Pueblo, says he may be under consideration for U.S. agriculture secretary. Salazar issued a statement today saying, "I am humbled that I may be under consideration as a possible nominee." He gave no details.
Salazar won election to a third term last month. He is the brother of Colorado Democratic Sen. Ken Salazar.
