Instead of turkey, what do you think about Tofurkey this Thanksgiving? PETA hopes you're up for the idea.
Two people dressed as turkeys were handing out the tofu substitutes on the corner of Tejon and Bijou in downtown Colorado Springs on Friday afternoon.
A lot of people grabbed the free Tofurkeys. PETA hopes to replace the traditional turkey, with theirs. Ashley Byrne with PETA says, "It's a healthy, humane alternative to having a turkey corpse as a centerpiece to peoples' Thanksgiving tables."
They are travelling from Denver to Arizona in the next week to hand out free Tofurkeys.
