Gearing Up: Empty Stocking Fund

Organizers geared up Thursday night to raise an incredible amount of money for this year's Empty Stocking Fund, the 25th annual!
Donations go to 14 local non-profits to pay for food, and medical services for those in need.
News First 5/30 is a proud sponsor, along with the El Pomar Foundation and The Gazette.
Our hopes this year are high. The Gazette's Jeff Thomas says, "Our goal this year is a million dollars. That's going to be a challenging goal to meet. We got just over a million dollars last year, and we're going to see if we can get past it again this year."
The Empty Stocking Fund kicks off the day after Thanksgiving.
