Ground beef sold at Fort Carson has been recalled because of possible E. coli contamination.
The Defense Department has issued a voluntary recall on all 85 percent lean ground beef sold at Fort Carson and nine other commissaries around the country. The department issued the recall after conducting lab tests on beef from one supplier.
The military suggests anyone who bought the meat this month should throw it away or return it for a full refund.
