If you live in the Rockrimmon area, police have a message for you -- lock your vehicles. There's been a spike in vehicle break-ins recently.
Parking your car in the garage doesn't guarantee that it's safe. The CSPD says wallets, credit cards, cash and checks top the list of items targeted by thieves. These thefts also leave victims vulnerable to identity theft.
Most drivers discover the thefts in the morning. Contact CSPD at 444-7234 if you have any information on these thefts.
