In true Air Force Academy tradition, the class of 2008 took "Spirit Hill" at the Academy this afternoon. The event marks the end of four years of grueling school work and the final leg of the cadet’s journey to become commissioned Air Force Officers.
Cadet First Class Brian Page says, “It feels awesome, I can’t wait to be done.”
This year’s class is the 50th to graduate from the prestigious institution since it opened its doors. Cadet First Class Katie Rowling says, “Its pretty unreal right now, I’ll be honest.”
This year’s graduation is scheduled for May 28th at Falcon Stadium. President George W. Bush will give this year’s commencement address.
