Enrollment at CSU-Pueblo may spike next fall. The university reports that it's received about 3,500 applications, a 150 percent increase from last year. "We think it's a combination of the buzz that's been generated about this campus and on this campus, about all the changes that are going on," said Russell Meyer, Provost. "Some really aggressive marketing. Some really good work by our admissions people...getting the word out about CSU-Pueblo."
The university is adding three sports this fall, including football. Currently about 4,000 students attend the university.
