The cadet-run radio station at the U.S. Air Force Academy has begun broadcasting worldwide on the web. KAFA 97.7 FM plays alternative rock, and offers original programming and coverage of special events, all targeted to the cadet age group.

The Academy hopes graduates, cadet families and anyone interested in cadet life will listen.

The radio station also plans to broadcast live on graduation day, with live programming starting at 7 a.m., until the ceremony begins. Live coverage of the ceremony will follow the pre-grad show.
