All aboard! The Ute Pass Express is almost ready to roll. The new commuter buses between Woodland Park, and Colorado Springs hit the highway on Monday.
These buses offer reclining seats, Wi-Fi, and reading lights.
It's funded by federal grants that aim to ease congestion on Highway 24.
Diane Evergreen is with Mountain Metropolitan Transit. She says, "We know that about half of Teller County drives down the pass every day to go to work. So, there are huge numbers going down, and we're hoping to capture them on the bus, and reduce some congestion, and improve the air quality."
Tickets are now available.
