Snow piles up in Southern Colorado

The News First 5/30 weather team warned us and boy, were they correct. Schools were closed, work places had delayed starts and residents canceled their gym workouts in favor of pushing snow shovels.

Snow fall totals by midday were impressive:

  • Fowler              14 inches
  • Walsenburg    10 inches
  • Boone              10 inches
  • Trinidad             9 inches
  • Rye                     8 inches
  • Pueblo West     6 inches
  • Monument         4 inches
