Check your Powerball tickets--someone out there is $50,000 richer. The Colorado Lottery reports that one person matched four numbers plus the Powerball. The winner has not yet come forward.
The big prize was won in Louisiana. A single ticket sold there is worth $97 million.
Wednesday's winning numbers were 9, 18, 19, 38, 47. The Powerball was 11 and the multiplier was 5.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001. It's now played in 29 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
