The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says Charles E. Gross confessed to shooting a man in the head nearly 7 years ago and then stuffing his body under his mobile home.
According to the arrest affidavit, he told investigators, "I wrapped it in plastic, pushed it under the house, and forgot about it."
Just over two weeks ago a dog found the jaw bone of the shooting victim. That's what got authorities on the case. Investigators tracked Gross down at his new address on E. Evans in Pueblo.
The sheriff's office says when Gross moved he took portions of the body to his new address. The affidavit says he kept the body parts in a 55 gallon drum in his backyard.
Gross is being held on $100,000 bond. The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office has not released the identity of the body.
