If you've visited koaa.com lately, you've probably noticed the site is different. The website has a new appearance and users get access to more information and services, especially in a particular area of interest.
Logging onto koaa-dot-com is a new experience. It has a new look and feel... and visitors get much more. KOAA’s Internet Marketing Director, Darin Dawson, says "We have a lot more content on the site. So we have entertainment content. And dining content. Health content. From news stories to physicians. And restaurants. Lots of local things for people to take advantage of." For instance, local traffic. The page has almost four dozen cameras and a map with updated traffic information. And other interests like education. That quick link sends you to local education stories. But you can also access any school district in our viewing area.
They’re just some of the features that make this site user friendly. According to Dawson, it's also easy to navigate. “We have two home buttons for instance. Because some people like to use a home button on the left, versus one on the top. And so we've made the most popular things redundant. so you can find them many different places on the site. So you find what you're looking for when you want to find it."
That’s the concept behind the weather section. It’s information how you want it. You can view weather stations near your neighborhood, statewide or national weather information. Dawson says, "Weather has never been better on koaa-dot-com. we have now all of your local weather. A local 5-day forecast. You can get weather in Colorado Springs or Pueblo. Or in New York City if you'd like."
At News First, you get the latest and most accurate local news and information. Now even more is always available here at our website.
