Florence school employee charged with child sexual assault

Florence police arrested an employee with a Fremont County School District on charges of child sex assault.
On Thursday, Florence police joined Canon City police, and the Fremont County Sheriff's office to arrest Stephanie Kay Bellino.
Bellino is an employee with the RE-2 School District. She's been under investigation since August 14. That's when Florence police say they were tipped off by the School District about the alleged crime.
Bellino is formally charged with Sexual Assault on a Child by one in a Position of Trust. She's being held on a $50,000 bond.
Police aren't releasing any other details. We will bring you more as it becomes available.
