Early morning fire leaves firefighters searching for the source

Firefighters in Colorado Springs spent a good part of the early morning trying to find the flames that created heavy smoke in an office building at 3100 N. Academy.
Crews say heavy smoke was coming from an electrical room, and they had a difficult time finding the source. They eventually had to tear a hole in the roof to get to the flames.
On scene, Lieutenant James Eddy said the fire began on the east side of the building, but the smoke was coming from the west side. He adds the flames are out.
5 fire trucks were on scene from 2:30 until 4:30 this morning working on the fire.
