While US soldiers fight overseas, military and financial aid groups say more of them are falling behind on their mortgage payments and struggling to keep their homes.
The number of military families facing foreclosure is increasing according to USAA, a financial services company that serves the military and their families. The VA and financial counseling services say they're hearing from more service members fighting to stave off foreclosure.
Since the mortgage crisis began, more than one million foreclosures have occurred nationwide.
