It's the latest craze, avoiding the market altogether and swapping homes online.
Looking for a home in Illinois? There's an ad on Craigslist. Someone out there wants to trade their home for one in the Springs.
"It just seems to make sense," said Greg Holt, the CEO of Pad4Pad.com. His site has thousands of listings for homes, many of them for swapping.
Kyle Von Fange has been trying to sell his Colorado Springs condo for three months. So he turned to home swapping.
"It's been a struggle I have to admit. These past few months of trying to sell the property have been kind of difficult," said Von Fange.
Experts say it's a growing trend but they warn people should know exactly what they are getting into when swapping a home.
