Nuggets trade away only draft pick

DENVER (AP) - The Denver Nuggets have traded their first-round pick in Thursday's draft to the Charlotte Bobcats for a future protected first-round pick.

The Nuggets had the 20th overall selection.

Mark Warkentien, Denver's vice president of basketball operations, announced the swap Wednesday.

The trade means the Nuggets have no picks in the draft.
