The soccer season ended a month ago but it was still a big week for Rampart goalie Kyle Simons, this week’s Loaf ‘N Jug High School Athlete of the Week.”
Last Wednesday Kyle signed a full ride letter of intent to play soccer at the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Soccer has been a major part of Kyle’s life. He also plays for the top U18 Pride Soccer Club team and has played in international tournaments in Austria and Sweden.
In the classroom Kyle maintains a 3.7 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.
The winter sports season is now in full swing so don't forget to nominate your favorite high school athlete. Then watch News First at 6pm and 10pm Tuesday night for the weekly announcement of the "Loaf ‘N Jug High School Athlete of the Week."
