A multi-sport athlete from Rocky Ford high school is this week’s “Loaf ‘N Jug High School Athlete of the Week.”

16-year-old Belinda Viescas plays volleyball and basketball for the Meloneers and was a starter on the softball team that beat Wray and lost to Erie in the recent state tournament.

In the classroom, Belinda carries a 3.9 grade point average and is taking college classes while still in high school.
