For the first time in nearly seven years college wrestling returned to Pueblo on Wednesday.

The ThunderWolves wrestling program was reinstated this season along with football.  Over 2,000 fans packed Massari Arena on Wednesday night to watch the ThunderWolves first home match against Mesa State.

CSU-Pueblo won four of ten matches against Mesa but dropped the dual match by a score of 27-12. The ThunderWolves grapplers are back in action Thursday night hosting RMAC powerhouse Adams State.
