Hill Climb partners with Sports Corporation

Good news for race fans and the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. The Colorado Springs Sports Corporation and the Hill Climb have agreed to a new working partnership.
The Sports Corporation, which has done such a great job promoting the State Games of America, State Games of the West and Rocky Mountain State Games will assist the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in publicity and much-needed sponsor support.
Tom Osborne, the CEO of the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation said, “The Hill Climb is part of the DNA of this community and it falls into the Sports Corporation's core mission. That mission is to support national and international events in Colorado Springs."
Driver Randy Schranz told News First that this new agreement “is going to help get some of those sponsors. That's what we need to make the thing go."
It was also announced that next year’s annual "race to the clouds" will be held Sunday, July 19, 2009.
