Twins beat Rox in interleague play

DENVER (AP) - Nick Blackburn pitched seven strong innings and Delmon Young doubled twice and scored two runs to lead the Minnesota Twins to a 4-2 win over the Colorado Rockies on Friday night at Coors Field.

Rockies outfielder Matt Holliday was pulled from Friday’s lineup because of tightness in his lower back.

Holliday was originally in the lineup against the Twins, but his back didn't loosen up sufficiently after treatment. He was replaced in left field by Ryan Spilborghs.

Holliday is listed as day-to-day.
